Man sets pregnant lover ablaze

Until June 23, not many could have suspected that all was not well between Emeka Agu, 28, and his pregnant girlfriend, Miss Bidemi Akinsolufe. That night, disaster struck in their home in Ayobo area of Lagos, as Emeka allegedly set his lover ablaze.
The reason? To prevent the lady from charming other men with her beauty. Nearly a month after, Bidemi still writhes in pain at the Gbagada General Hospital, even as Emeka awaits his date with the law. The reporter met the badly burnt lady on her hospital bed and she narrated what led to the sad incident.

Strike: ASUU insists FG implements 2009 agreements





The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Monday insisted that the Federal Government should implement the agreements reached in 2009 before it would call off its strike.

ASUU made its position known in Abuja when it appeared before the joint National Assembly Committees on Education.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that some of the issues in the agreement include: funding, university autonomy, academic freedom, earned academic allowance and registration of Universities Pension Management Company.

Here what she said: "No, I can’t lose weight for any man. Any man who doesn’t like me the way I am can as well keep a distance. Why must I even lose weight for a man?
"What if I lose weight and I find someone else and he says I want you to add weight for me then I will add weight again for the person. It doesn’t make any sense. Everybody can’t like you so if you don’t like me just stay away."

A photographer has captured an eerie series of images depicting the factory production of life-size silicone sex dolls.
Each of the Real Dolls, which cost around $7,000, are customized to suit customers' fantasies.
Matt McMullen, the sculptor of the doll had this to say about his dolls;
"Real Dolls are not just sex toys. It's way more than that".
'Number one, not everybody has the degree of care and respect that it takes to actually own one of these dolls. This is not something that you just kick under your bed,' he explains.
'They invest months and months into the planning of what the doll is going to look like, they give her a name, they'll set up a little closet or space to store the doll, and it becomes a personality. It becomes a presence in their home.
'And I'm not going to judge, nor do I think anyone else should judge them for that.'
